Thanks for giving me a heads up about this. What I've done is put the definitive information in the wiki: http://wiki.list.org/display/DOC/Installation+requirements then I updated the online documentation to recommend Python 2.4.4 (as of its current writing), but point to that wiki page for more up-to- date information. BTW, hopefully we've learned our lessons with Python patch releases. There /will/ be a Python 2.5.1 but I'm fairly confident that it will not break anything in Mailman 2.1.9 or beyond.
