I'm not sure why you want to avoid the web interface because it can do exactly what you want. Using the Mass subscription option in the Membership management page of the web interface you can subscribe as many addresses as you want without the confirmation by simply clicking the Subscribe radio button and entering the addresses in the appropriate field. Is there some reason why this won't work for you?
