The installation manual discusses using Postfix as an MTA with Mailman
and integrating Postfix with Mailman for automated alias generation.
The manual describes using hash tables in Postfix for Mailman, and
this will work even if you use mysql tables in Postfix for other
purposes.

If you want to use mysql database tables in Postfix for Mailman
aliases, you can, but this would be extra and unnecessary work.
