In Mailman 2.1.10, there is a new sibling lists feature that can be
used to reduce or eliminate duplicates sent to members of multiple
cross-posted lists.

You can for example put [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the regular_exclude_lists
attribute of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Then, if a post addresses both
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED], those addresses which are
regular members of both [EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED] with
delivery enabled will not be sent the post from [EMAIL PROTECTED]
