In addition to the reply that has been posted, here is mine.
I do not know about FC3 and how it packages/patches Mailman.
I have looked at Debian/Ubuntu, which, in error, deletes pythonlib
due to an error that someone reported. When I built a 2.1.9 Mailman
package for Ubuntu, I discarded all but one of the Debian/Ubuntu
patches and commented the
rmdir debian/$(package)/var/lib/mailman/pythonlib
line in the debian/rules file.
