I suspect that it's pretty common in cases where people get a VMware guest OS or soemthing like that. The hosting company / ISP is going to want to keep close watch on port 25, but list and crm services seem like something they'll be just as happy to delegate to clients. Especially since there's such a wide variety of them. There are other cases I know of, too, where people with excess capacity allow a buddy to set up mailman on their host (this is basically what happened with xemacs.org). ------------------------------------------------------ Mailman-Users mailing list Mailman-Users@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-users Mailman FAQ: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/mailman-users%40python.org/ Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/mailman-users/archive%40jab.org Security Policy: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq01.027.htp
