Hi Mark.
It appears your ISP is using some packaged Mailman (possibly Debian or RedHat), but has not properly configured Postfix to look for Mailman's aliases and virtual maps in the place where the package puts them.
It's a VM with CentOS and I guess he simply picked the package from Yum. I have now fixed the relevant entry in /etc/postfix/main.cf: ----- snip ----- alias_database = hash:/etc/aliases, hash:/etc/mailman/aliases ----- snap ----- Thank you for your comment, as always. ---Ulf Dunkel ------------------------------------------------------ Mailman-Users mailing list Mailman-Users@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-users Mailman FAQ: http://wiki.list.org/x/AgA3 Security Policy: http://wiki.list.org/x/QIA9 Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/mailman-users%40python.org/ Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/mailman-users/archive%40jab.org
