I am investigating moving off LISTSERV to MailMan, as the LDAP-enabled
version of LISTSERV is beyond out budget.
Does MailMan support LDAP auth for the identities of list owners,
editors, and managers (excuse my ignorance of MailMan terminology) but
NOT for list members (subscribers).
In other words, most of our lists are open to anyone to join, so members
must not be restricted to in-house people; but lists can only be owned
and run by an employee of the organisation (someone who appears in our
identity management system).
