Is this a cPanel host? if so, the FAQ article at <https://wiki.list.org/x/4030641> may help. Also, if it is cPanel, the MTA is exim and the recipient delimiter stuff is not an issue. The Mailman installation has a file Mailman/mm_cfg.py (/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/Mailman/mm_cfg.py in cPanel). This is the installation wide Mailman installation config file. All that needs to be done is add the one line VERP_CONFIRMATIONS = Yes to the end of that file.
