You need to create an account on GitLab and add your ssh public key in
order to use g...@gitlab.com:mailman/mailman.git URLs. Alternatively, you
can use URLs like https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman.git

There are a few places where this is mentioned. E.g.,
<https://wiki.list.org/DEV/SetupDevEnvironment>, but we need to be
better about making this more clear.
