Assuming you have set Bounce processing -> bounce_processing to No for the list's in question, what is going on is you have users whose delivery was previously disabled bybounce. Once a user's delivery is disabled bybounce the cron/disabled job takes over and sends the periodic warnings an ultimately removes the user.

Once those users who've been disabled bybounce before you turned off bounce processing have been removed, there won't be any more. Of course, you can also remove the cron/disabled job from Mailman's crontab, but this will leave users whose delivery is disabled bybounce who will never be removed.
