IBM NEWS * Hawk/Serrano Beta Takes Flight IBM announced a beta program for its Serrano (WebSphere Information Integrator) and Hawk (WebSphere Enterprise Data Integration Suite) projects, which are designed to manage information in structured and unstructured domains. Project Serrano streamlines the design and development of information infrastructures and provides enhanced enterprise search capabilities, information integration, and text analytics. A key part of Project Serrano is the new product IBM Rational Data Architect, built on the open source Eclipse platform, which helps data architects model, discover, map, and analyze data across multiple information sources. Another new product IBM WebSphere Information Analyzer, part of Project Hawk, provides data profiling, auditing, and business-oriented analysis.
