Hi Dog Lover!
I'd like to invite you to join PUREBRED, our all-breed dog discussion
list, now welcoming mixed breeds as well.
On PUREBRED, we learn all about our dogs from each other and have
lots of fun at the same time.
PUREBRED's Veterinarian Rachel Peeples DVW and other experts would
love to answer your health questions about your dogs.
Our standard reference is PUREBRED regular D. Caroline Coile's
best-selling "The Encyclopedia Of Dogs". Caroline, the
biggest-selling dog author in the world, is a wonderfully
knowledgeable and witty contributor, whose myriad of breed books can
be found in book stores, pet stores and libraries all across the US.
We also have new first time owners, members who've had dogs for
years, and judges, handlers and breeders as well. Everybody is very
nice, and loves to learn more about our dogs together. We think of
ourselves as a family, and we have a lot of fun.
We encourage all members of our PUREBRED Family to post photos,
artwork, poems as well as information, about their dogs. Our dogs are
all companion dogs first, and whatever else second. We have pets,
show dogs rescues, and performance dogs. It's basically very
freewheeling, fun and friendly. Lots of good-natured humor and
irreverence.
We admire and invite all breeds, not just those recognized by AKC.We
have Labradors, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Spaniels,
Akitas, Yorkies, Beagles, Dachshunds, Pit Bulls, Boxers, Rottweilers.
Cocker Spaniels, Afghan Hounds, Wolves, Carolina Singing Dog
people.... you name it. I've heard estimates that there are over 700
breeds in the world, and we'd like to have owners and fanciers
globally from all of them.
