My name is Roz Fruchtman. I am the owner/manager of the *original*
HTML-Haven Discussion Group. HTML-Haven is over 3 1/2 years old
and enjoys a membership of approximately 1500 members. Over the years
we have watched members grow from wannabee to professional.
Don't be fooled by *Look-a-Like* or *Sound-a-Like* groups,
HTML-H A V E N ... is the *genuine article!*
We want to help our membership more than survive in these trying times.

varying skill levels -- wannabee/novice, all the way up to the seasoned
web development professional -- Who wants to go full-circle by giving
something back for all they have received.
The group offers a lively daily discussion. All questions are welcome no
matter how silly or trivial they may seem. The only silly question(s)
is/are the ones that are *never* asked! After all... we all had to
start somewhere. We strive to make your learning experience easier and
more fulfilling. I can vividly remember my first learning experiences!<frown>
Come join us, and let us help you grow! In this Cyber age there is no
need for you to flounder a moment longer! Let us guide you, as we all

We have worked very hard to make everyone feel welcome and to create a
friendly professional atmosphere where one can ask whatever questions
they are faced with -- 24/7. You will NEVER be told to RTFM -- This is
a NON-issue at HTML-Haven.
We are a group that helps, not turns people away in their time of need.
The only stipulation as far as questions... They MUST be related to web
design/development issues. Some topic examples are: the Internet, email,
browser compatibility/incompatibility, copyright infringement, web research,
search engines (on or off site), site promotion, your promotion, marketing
your list, how to market your services, or anything else that is
somehow related.
I hope this announcement has at the least wet your learning appetite to...
at least give us a try!

from each other!
Since late August 2001, when the group originated, it has grown to
approximately *1100* to date, thus making Photoshop-Haven a viable
contender in the Photoshop help community.

Photoshop-Haven is an on-topic professional discussion group and caters to
-- anything related to -- Adobe Photoshop and it's plugins. We plan to
bring the novice and professional together to share ideas and become more
proficient using this dynamic program.
I have learned... Art can be found anyplace, anytime, under any
circumstances. I have even taken to carrying *three* digital cameras with
me everywhere. The ugliest picture/image can be turned into a beautiful
original work of art just by using the proper filters -- both built-in and
plugin. The fact that I review also opens up opportunities -- from
time-to-time -- for discounts to seminars/workshops given by leading
educators in the Photoshop industry.
The *only* limits in designing digital art are the limits one puts upon
themselves. Won't you join us so we can continue to create beautiful
artwork together -- and learn from each other. The best tips and
techniques that I use daily were gained by asking strangers how they
achieved a certain affect, and them unselfishly sharing with me.

Subject: Read the New Testament - New King James Version- in 3 months

New Testament- New King James Version- Daily Scripture Reading
On July 1st we will begin to read a daily selection of the New Testament
in the "New King James Version", which will result in our group reading
the entire New Testament in a 3 month period (AND a commentary message
for each day, also). If you are not getting into our reading group on
the start date, that's OK, for we will continue on with the readings,
from July 1st and finishing on September 30, but restarting again on
October 1st, so it will cycle back around for you also to have read it
all- just 3 months from 'whenever' YOUR start date may be. There are 2
mailings per day; first the NT Scripture reading for the day, and second
is a commentary on that day's reading.
You can visit this site daily for your readings without having to sign
up; but you *may find it easier to have the Scriptures delivered daily
by email, if so, then JOIN us today!
