Peggy Detmers creates fine realistic wildlife & western art. Stroll through the
sculpture or flatwork galleries to see some of her work. In the monumental work area,
see pictures of the Buffalo hunt assembly Peggy has created for Kevin Costner's Dunbar
Resort.
When asked about the popularity of realistic art, Peggy states, "People want to bring
into their homes something that reminds them of the life their busy schedules are not
allowing them to participate in as often as they would like. They would like to be
able to flee city life and immerse themselves in the natural world -- hence the
continuing popularity of realistic wildlife and western art."
