Hello:
My name is Roz Fruchtman. After my first experience with Macromedia
Dreamweaver 3, I was in love!<smile> Then with Dreamweaver 4 I was truly
in Dreamland, now with Dreamweaver MX... well, try it, you'll love it!
My *dream* (pardon the pun) was to create a community where those new to
Dreamweaver could intermingle with seasoned professionals who were/are
willing to help and/or give something back while continuing to learn by
helping others.
There is no need for people to flounder and/or feel stupid with questions
they feel are fundamental. We have all been there, and our energies could
best be spent being creative instead of being frustrated. The only stupid
questions are those that are NEVER asked.
Dreamweaver has become a much sought-after program, and a program that
every web developer should become familiar with. Trust me... you will
never regret taking the time to learn and use Macromedia Dreamweaver. I,
myself have lost out on many an opportunity because I did not have the
working knowledge years ago. I want to make sure that YOU DO NOT have the
same experience(s) that I did.
Whether you are using Dreamweaver 3, Dreamweaver 4 or Dreamweaver MX, I
hope you will join us so we can grow together and expand our creativity and
make a difference in the web development arena.

New York Women's Business Support Online (NYWBSO) is dedicated to the
support of New York Women in New Media -- whether wannabee, just starting out,
or established. In these troubled times we need this connection more than
ever to find out what is going on.
The group's mission is to establish a network of women who can
cooperatively and interactively discuss all business-related
issues. Issues include: brainstorming new business ventures, legal
issues, copyright, copyright infringement, negotiations, advice on job
searches and refocusing skills, personal growth in business, resources,
mentoring, alternative methods of learning, industry events and discounts,
and much more.
NYWBSO's membership is limited to women in the Tri-State Area (New York,
New Jersey, and Connecticut). The purpose is to enable and encourage women
with similar business interests and goals to meet and network with each
other in person.
No question is too silly or too trivial. All questions are welcome, as
long as they are related to the group's focus.

Photoshop-Haven is an on-topic professional discussion group and caters to
-- anything related to -- Adobe Photoshop and it's plugins. We plan to
bring the novice and professional together to share ideas and become more
proficient using this dynamic program.
I have learned... Art can be found anyplace, anytime, under any
circumstances. I have even taken to carrying *three* digital cameras with
me everywhere. The ugliest picture/image can be turned into a beautiful
original work of art just by using the proper filters -- both built-in and
plugin. The fact that I review also opens up opportunities -- from
time-to-time -- for discounts to seminars/workshops given by leading
educators in the Photoshop industry.
The *only* limits in designing digital art are the limits one puts upon
themselves. Won't you join us so we can continue to create beautiful
artwork together -- and learn from each other. The best tips and
techniques that I use daily were gained by asking strangers how they
achieved a certain affect, and them unselfishly sharing with me.
