Hi All, Have recently logged onto a recently installed MailManager instance (which I'm still learning to fly!), and found myself locked out. I was logging on to check a problem report from a user, who reported that he had first seen an HTTP pop-up authentication dialogue rather than the page he was expecting, and then had been locked out himself.
I've had to set wide-open permissions on the security tab of the ZMI in the MM folder for all MM roles such that I can get back in again, and am about to do a clean install in a clean Zope instance such that I can "crib" the proper settings. I have two questions: - 1) Has anyone else ever seen such behaviour? Is there anything I should watch for which may be linked to the problem? (The only event on the server this seems to bear any relation to is the installation of the MailDropHost Zope product, but I'm not using this in MM) 2) I see all MailManager-related permissions set to manager in the Zope root, and the MailManager folder itself, containing the MM-specific roles. Is there anything else to watch out for or check? TIA -- Regards, PhilK "Say what you mean. Bear witness. Iterate." —John M.
