I looked and could not find a way to change the color of the little menu-bar "dot". I use one to show that there are unread messages.
For years it has been red with a white number. Now it's orange, and the white number is almost unreadable. Perhaps I missed it, but I couldn't find a way to change it, even in the "hidden" adjustments file.
