Hi,
I wanted to do this also and Benny added it a while ago....
defaults write com.freron.MailMate MmDefaultBccHeader -string
"<.sender.>"
When MailMate sees this value then it uses the From header to set the
Bcc address. It is also updated in the composer if the sender is updated
manually or when entering recipients.

What I do is to bcc myself. This way, messages I send and messages I
receive are in the same folder (in the inbox).
... But the auto-bcc feature always inserts a static bcc header, it
would be great if that could insert the value of the from header,
instead...

Right now, double clicking on the From field of a message presents us
with all message in that folder with that value in the From field.
Double clicking the Subject field of a message does the same for the
Subject field. What about a key combination on a message that
presents all messages in the current folder *and the Sent folder*
that have one of the following two properties:
1. The To and From fields match the current message's To and From
fields respectively.
2. The To and From fields match the current message's From and To
fields, respectively.
They don't have to be organized by thread, but it at least gives us
something close to Conversation View if sorted by Date, I think.

Are there any plans to add a conversation view like
Mail/Gmail/Thunderbird/PostBox have? Basically bringing all the
messages
from the thread together into the message pane? Its one of the main
things
that keeps bringing me back to Gmail.
I'd like to say yes, but it has already been a long standing open
request. So, yes, there is a plan, but don't expect it soon.
