I am unable to "Edit as new message" any message that uses Markdown.
When I try to do so, the message opens, but with the body empty.
In contrast, when I "Edit as new message" a message that uses Plain
Text, there is no problem; i.e., the message body appears properly. Has
anyone else seen this behavior? Is there a way around this or a fix?
