The IMAP server is FastMail, but the problem only started happening
after a recent update in the last week.
I had this issue in the past, and I know roughly how to fix it, but,
not really sure what's repeatedly causing it.
The test release you refer to introduced a bug when uploading messages.
This was fixed in another update released 3 days ago. Try updating to
the latest test release and let me know if the issue persists. (Hold
down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update
preferences pane.
