Is it possible to archive folders?

I was in my inbox, double-clicked on a sender name, and got a list of
all emails from this sender.

Then, MM became unresponsive, as it often does after my laptop wakes up
after “sleeping.”

Now, the contents of my inbox are apparently missing — I only have the
19 emails from the sender I had searched.

There’s no back button option.

Any ideas for how to get my inbox back?

Thanks,

Susan

It sounds like it was doing a search on that sender. In that case, you
just have to click the '-' in the upper right (see the attached image)
to end the search and show the rest of the mail.
