That is the default, but the other posters were discussing the message
preview in the main window. I don't really consider it a preview myself,
but that's because I almost never use the standalone message window. (I
think it all depends on the user's previous email client history. I'm
not stating that one is better than the other.)
Clearly there is some kind of bug related to saving the state of a
hidden view. I tried to reproduce that without luck, but I'll give it
another go. (Let me know if one of you find reproducible steps.)
