Not sure what it was, but I have it working as of this morning. Just a
few days ago I had copied my plist files from my main machine to a
laptop. Since the laptop was working, I decided to try copying the files
back to the main machine. And that solved the problem.

The most likely reason I guess is that the file is invalid, that is,
that something is wrong with the syntax.
You can send me the file (off list if you like) and then I'll check
it.
