We can check the synchronization with the server like this:
* Open the Activity Viewer (⌥⌘0).
* Mark a message as read.
* Use “Help ▸ Send Server Logs”.
On which machine?
The one you use to mark the message read -- and it has to be one of the
times that it fails to work.
Make sure all folders are online under SOURCES (no persistent spinners
or greyed out mailbox names).
