In addition to dragging the message to create a link, you have Edit >
Copy as Link (option+shift+command+C).
You can also enable the bundle for the Task Manager of your choice.
You're then a keyboard shortcut (see the Command-menu) away from getting
the email & link into your task manager.

My use case is adding an email link directly to my task manager app so
I
can easily reference the information in a paricular email when
performing a task.

This is cool, but what’s the use case? In other words, what do you
do
with such a link?

Is there a way to generate a link to a particular email in
MailMate?
From what I understand, some apps that are integrated with
MailMate
use the message:// protocol to do that, but I’m having a hard
time
finding a way to generate those links in the documentation or the
UI.
I find that I can just drag the message from the message list pane
to
get this URL.
