You mean without storing a copy in Sent Messages?
That's not currently optional, but you could possibly hack it using
rules. E.g., display the Tags header in the Composer and introduce a tag
named “DeleteMe”. Then setup a rule for the Sent Messages mailbox
which uses the “Deleted Permanently” action for any messages with
the “DeleteMe” tag.
