other way around I start to think that you've must have had already some
thoughts about this… :-)
What do you - all of you - use for replies, at the top or at the bottom?

See the Signatures preferences pane. After changing the default
behavior then click “Reset Usage History” to make sure MailMate
does not remember anything wrong based on emails you have already
sent.
