If you did it with the General preferences pane then you should be able
to just disable the “Custom Location” setting. Or choose a different
location.
The `com.freron.MailMate` folder is only used when the
`Messages(.noindex)` folder is not in its default location:
~/Library/Application Support/MailMate/
