Make sure the assigned “Junk” mailbox for this account is
“[Gmail]/Junk”. (Select it in the SOURCES section and then check
“Mailbox ▸ Mailbox Type”.)
Otherwise, Gmail won't learn anything when you mark something as
junk.
If it still doesn't work then you could setup a specific filter in
your Gmail account to junk these emails, e.g., based on the From
address. You can also do this in MailMate, but it's always better to
do it server-side if possible.
