The “if successful” part is not currently possible without making
your own Things bundle command and putting the archiving action into
that. (A non-trivial exercise.)
As I am using Fastmail app on iPhone, there is no way to add a message
to Things app directly. So, I move the message to ‘todo’ folder
and run the bundle command manually, when I am on the Mac.
Does anyone have a better workflow?
You can run commands as part of rules in any mailbox, but as noted above
you cannot easily check if the command succeeded.
