Here is what I am trying
echo "The body of the message." | ~/bin/emate mailto --to "Info
<[email protected]>" --subject "Label - `date -v+1d "+%e %B, %Y"`"
--header "#flags: @action" --send-now
This command does not send the email in background, instead it makes the
Mailmate window appear in front.

You should only add `--send-now`. Could you provide an example of the
`emate` command with arguments (you can just use dummy addresses)?
