Yes, accessing my Yahoo account via web browser and creating an “App
Password” for MailMate and using this password in MailMate to log in
seems to have fixed this issue.
I don’t know why this problem isn’t showing up with my 3 other Yahoo
accounts. Not that I’m complaining…

No, I have not created any app-specific passwords for any of my Yahoo
accounts. I would expect that other of the accounts would have this
persistent error if this was the reason.
