[MlMt] Copy/paste word in mailmate

When I copy and paste a fragment of a MS Word document into a Mailmate 
mail, it appears as an attached .png image, instead of a regular text in 
the body of the email. How is it possible to get rid of formatting so 
that copy/paste works the way I expect? I tried shift-command-V normally 
used to get rid of formatting, but it does not seem to work.
