Same problem here with coming back to 5820 from 5822 …
Where do I find „com.freron.MailMate.plist“ and can’t I simply
delete it and restart MM?

I suffered the same problem when I updated from r5820 to r5822 two
days ago. Reverting to 5820 did not fix it. I subsequently did fix
it by restoring from a backup the com.freron.MailMate.plist and then
relaunching r5820.
