When I compose a new message to be sent, as I begin to type a dropdown list of previously used addresses appears. Some of them are incorrect and I’d like to edit the list. I’m sure there’s a simple way to do that, but I don’t know what it is. Hope to learn about it. Thanks.

Two things:

First, you can accept the incorrect address, after which you can double-click inside the “bubble” to edit the contents, then hit Return to convert it back to a bubbled address. This allows you to fix mis-spellings or insert a name for an address using the “name <addr>” syntax. It’s mostly up to you to get the syntax right.

Second, you can add previously seen addresses to MailMate’s blacklist by right-clicking on the address and choosing the “Add to Blacklist” action. Once an address is blacklisted, it won’t be offered during auto-complete. Be careful what you invoke this on, because getting it *off* the blacklist requires a tad more work with a text editor.
