Thank you, Henry. I didn’t notice that filter option. That was it.

Warren,
Have you tried selecting the smart Mailbox All/Junk/Deleted (located
in AllMessage Filters) then search for your item? The default search
used (All Message Filters) seems to specifically exclude deleted by
default. If you look at the Search box carefully you will see the
assignment barely visible, “Search: All Message Filters”. It’s
been this way for several versions including the current one.
There may be a setting to change this, but I like not bothering to
search deleted folders personally which could speed a search where I
need it.
Respectfully,

Hi all,
It seems, when I search for a key word, Mailmate is only showing my
sent replies to the original emails but not the original I received.
(Both sent and received are deleted, so I’m searching for a deleted
email.)
When I go to the individual imap mailbox, I found the email when
searching there in the “trash” folder, but I’m wondering why
Mailmate doesn’t find it when searching “All messages”?
I did confirm the mailbox is subscribed to the “trash” folder
where the email is hiding.
Is there some other setting I should be checking?
Thank you!
Warren
