I've been seeing a large increase in Gmail rate limiting errors this week. So far today has been the worst.
421 4.7.0 [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 10] Our system has detected an unusual rate of unsolicited mail originating from your IP address. To protect our users from spam, mail sent from your IP address has been temporarily rate limited. Please visit http://www.google.com/mail/help/bulk_mail.html to review our Bulk Email Senders Guidelines. Anyone else seeing an increase in these errors? The mail is going through but about 5-10x slower than usual. We use rules to prevent us from sending a lot of mail when we see this error from Gmail but from my data it's becoming more widespread. Looks like it started Tuesday Evening through Wednesday. It wasn't bad yesterday but today I'm seeing 100's of client IPs affected by it. Can't seem to find any common patterns. All different IP ranges and MFROM domains. Both from very active senders to brand new senders on new IPs. Shared and Dedicated IP are both affected. Regards, Andrew Andrew D.
