Yes, there was an issue on Yahoo side and that outage was for around 2.5 hours. It is not related to reputation of IPs or non white listed IPs as previously thought. Yahoo mail team acknowledge that issue and also informed me yesterday that it was resolved. I noticed that it was mostly on east coast side of yahoo servers had this outage.
