Since Wednesday evening at 6:28 pm (U.S. Central) I've been seeing email
delivery issues to Mediacom, both mchsi.com and mediacombb.net.

root@nagios:# dig MX mchsi.com +short
10 smtp01.mchsi.com.
20 smtp.mchsi.com.
root@nagios:/# host smtp.mchsi.com
smtp.mchsi.com has address 97.64.187.45
root@nagios:/# host smtp01.mchsi.com
smtp01.mchsi.com has address 68.66.77.42
root@nagios:/#

Our email server is logging these kinds of things:
        ubad=0, Site (mchsi.com/68.66.77.42) said: 450 4.7.0 too long
without DATA command (closing session)
Site mchsi.com (68.66.77.42) before data sent: 399 TCP Read failed
(Connection was closed. after 0 seconds) 0 sec

Some email is getting through 68.66.77.42, eventually.

While traceroutes to smtp01.mchsi.com [68.66.77.42] get through, traceroutes
to the higher-valued MX, smtp.mchsi.com [97.64.187.45] are not completing
past Comcast's network and 100% of messages attempting to use that IP
address are queued up.

Anyone else seeing this, too?

Frank
