I am not running a Checkpoint, but a Barracuda spam filter. However I
have seen a definite uptick in SPAM this past week.
No this was something specifically Checkpoint related... It suddenly
started blocking SORBS spamtrap messages outgoing from spamtrap servers
into the SORBS MXs ... and it seems to be content related rather than IP
related... and the config has not been changed in over a year... (it was
turned off a year ago)...
That said... large ramp up in spam over the last 7 days... last night
ramping up over 10 times the previous 7 days... scrambling for bandwidth
atm... all my servers are maxing out and a month ago they were idle and
I was getting questions about whether I needed so many (now I need at
least double!)
