I also work for a big company, and I quite understand the challenges making anything move even a tiny bit and even for the best reason. But I know that when poking the right people at the right time, you can get some changes done, even if it takes some (long) time to get the real move.

Now, to be honest, we recently got some messages from a big provider (I think you all know who we are talking about) hinting at the fact they might have understood that they should not silently drop email which were accepted by their MTA.

Changes never happen if no one points out at problems.
