Hi List

rescam.org made it to the swiss national tv news lately.

Generally I like the idea of wasting the time of scamers and spamers.
The goal is reached when the scamer can not distinguish between real
and bot answers and wastes most of his time talking to bots.

I have been trying out the service and did forward a couple of scam
mails to their scam input address.

According to their FAQ I should get some feedback by email on how the
scam mail was processed.

I haven't got any feedback yet, even after a couple of days.

Their FAQ is not clear on what format you have to forward the emails. I
assume full text/rfc822 MIME Part attachment, so the original email is
preserved and can be fully processed including headers.
But most email user won't know how to do that, but rather just forward
the email in some sort of in line fashion generated by their mail
client. Would that still work?

Also their website is in English only. So what use is it to forward
German language scam mails I am asking myself? Do they have multi
lingual bots?

Did anyone observe their bots do indeed answer scam mails? Or is
rescam.org itself just a scam to harvest email addresses or similar?
