Hi,

I've got a customer running their own mail server who is
experiencing huge delays on *receiving* emails from btinternet.com
senders.

This is ongoing, and appears to be affecting all email to them from
all senders with a btinternet.com address. My customer is not
noticing any attempts by BT to deliver the emails until the eventual
successful delivery. Mail from other senders is working fine and
there have been no local changes to their email configuration.

Their mail server is at 85.119.83.252 (and 2001:ba8:1f1:f073::2, but
none of the eventual deliveries happen over IPv6).

They've reported it to [email protected] but aren't getting
anywhere as they aren't a customer. None of their correspondents are
technically minded so would have difficulty reporting it on their
behalf.

Has anyone seen anything like this before with btinternet.com?

[ I'm just trying to help investigate this on behalf of my customer;
I don't have any direct access to their server so am relying on
information they've relayed to me. If there's any required
information I've missed please let me know and I will relay the
  request. ]

Headers from an example delayed email are below. As you can see it
appears to have been held inside btinternet.com / synchronoss.net
for about 13 days.

Thanks,
Andy
