FWIW, I’ve been quite happy with a setup that has OpenBSD spamd(8) doing greylisting and tarpitting based on locally generated and imported greytrapped blacklists, feeding on to the actual mail server(s) that do their content and header filtering using Spamassassin or what the local admins prefer.
