Apparently Gmail is now using very strict rules for replies sent to both the mailing lists and the OP (aka Reply to all):

I got this on the first mail I sent when I replied to a message posted to a mailing list by a Gmail user. I'm the only user of that server / IP address, and it was the first email I sent to a Gmail user in a few days, so I smiled when I read "an unusual rate of unsolicited mail".
