i did some polling among the friends and family who i could not reach
the last time gmail was opaquely rejecting all e-mail from my server. 0%
of those polled knew they had a choice of e-mail clients (or e-mail
services) or that they had made such a choice. i'm not calling coercion,
but i would like the record to state that "defaults matter".
