IMHO it would be nice if those (misleading) "tags" could be removed
before replying, similar to "[External]", "[Probably Spam]", etc,
esp. if they fill up the Subject: header such that the actual value
is barely displayed...
It's somewhat difficult for software to decide which tags are bogus. Mailing list software could at least check whether
a tag has been newly inserted in a thread, but that's probably beyond the control of mailop's operators.
Looks like the tag was inserted by the mail system used by John Devine, he probably does not have control over it. Of
course he could have removed that tag by himself, but that's something easily overlooked.
