| You make valid and invalid points…. The trouble is I suspect wires are crossed. Unless I also got the wrong end of the stick the OP has a Gmail account they are unable to access. So you get what you pay for is valid. My account was for and only for the purchase of an App through Google’s version of Apple’s App Store (Google Play?).. which means they were paid all be it a small amount. The account uses my email address at my email domain that has had no break in registration since the account creation. The 2FA was forced on the account and it refuses to use the email address as part of the 2FA instead reverting to using an SMS to a defunct (and undeliverable) Australian mobile telephone number. Therefore I believe my original comment stands…and Google were paid for me having that account further I had no choice in creating that account because I would not have created it being given the option to avoid Google in the first place.
As for GSuite… can-o-worms/flack…. Why would I pay for a GSuite account/setup to get support for an account that was used to download and pay for a non Google App from their “App Store”…? Michelle Sullivan http://www.mhix.org/ If we don't find a way out of this soon, I'm gonna lose it. Lose it... It means go crazy, nuts, insane, bonzo, no longer in possession of ones faculties, three fries short of a Happy Meal, wacko! There's life at Google. Just pay for GSuite. I'm not sure if you can run into the same issue if you have one (and only one) GSuite administrator (we always have at least 3), but their support is responsive for paid customers.
I'll pull the pin on this grenade and take the flack, but if you aren't paying, why would you expect support? And if you don't expect support, why would you do *anything* even remotely important or rely on this free and unsupported service you are using?

I gave up 5 years ago…. I have not seen any sign of improvement since… only further decline.
If there is life at Google that can help I’m listening and will stand corrected, however as I have asked more than one time over the last 7 years in other places as well. I expect more of the same and your assumption that I am asking for help is misplaced at best. Michelle Sullivan If we don't find a way out of this soon, I'm gonna lose it. Lose it... My current theory is Google accounts are the latest in a long line of abandonware it seems to be run by armatures and marketing people now… From a personal perspective, if it does all go boom, the loss of the spam farm called G-“we’re too big to block”-mail will be a blessing on the world.
You started with a somewhat legit case and question, seeking help -- and then you took a sharp and wrong turn, making odd assumptions and alienating the very people you wanted help from.
Good luck.
