Of course, HTML capable MUAs are common nowadays, but
IMO the problem lies somewhere else.
The everyone is "big" word, did you ask everyone? One my
(personal) desktop MUA doesn't support HTML (needs plugin),
the second (job) has HTML disabled:
everyone - 1 != everyone
